2026年5月開催、日本に逃れてきた難民を支援するチャリティラン＆ウォーク「DAN DAN RUN」の大会参加者を大募集します！
チャリティラン＆ウォーク「DAN DAN RUN」は、日本に逃れてきた難民の方々を支援するチャリティイベントです。認定NPO法人 難民支援協会（JAR）の協力のもと、ボランティアの実行委員会が運営し、今年は第11回となります。
会場参加とオンライン参加の2種類の大会をご用意しておりますので、ご家族やご友人をお誘いあわせの上、奮ってご参加ください！

【会場参加】
日時：5月31日（日） 8：30〜11：30 ※雨天決行・荒天中止
※種目によって開始時間が異なります
場所：豊洲ぐるり公園（Google Map）（アクセス）
レインボーブリッジを望む海沿いの気持ち良いコースで、走って・歩いて楽しめます。

難民に関するクイズに挑戦しながら歩く、学びと発見のあるコースです。

初心者から経験者まで、幅広く楽しめる4つのコースをご用意しています。

開会式では、難民支援協会 スタッフが日本に逃れてきた難民の現状や支援の現場についてお話しします
→ 参加者から直接質問できる時間もあります
▼ 参加方法
スマートフォンのラン／ウォークアプリを使用。あらかじめ設定した目標距離（5kmまたは10km）を好きな時間・好きな場所でラン／ウォークできます。
アプリはラン／ウォークの「スタート」「ストップ」を入力して距離を計測できるものなら何でもOK（例：Strava／TATTA／Goalsなど ※1日の歩数を計算する「万歩計」機能のアプリはお使いになれません）
距離がわかる画面のスクリーンショットを保存いただき、完走・完歩後にご提出いただきます。複数回に分けて完走・完歩した場合、スクリーンショットも複数枚になってかまいません。
完走・完歩された方の中から抽選で、プレゼントを差し上げます。また、最長距離を走破・踏破した方にもプレゼントいたします。
期間中は、メールにて難民に関するクイズと解説をお届けします。

【大会の目的】
ボランティアと参加者が共に作る当大会の目的は、次の通りです。
認定NPO法人 難民支援協会（JAR）のビジョン「難民の尊厳と安心が守られ、ともに暮らせる社会へ」をもとに、難民の方々への理解と共感を広め、一人ひとりを支援するための資金を集めます。
難民問題に関心を持つ方々の交流の場として、健康的に楽しみながら社会貢献します。
【収益の活用方法】
大会で得られた収益は認定NPO法人 難民支援協会（JAR）の活動全般に使用されます。
具体的には、難民認定のための「法的支援」、難民の生き抜く力を支える「生活支援」、地域社会で暮らし経済的に自立するための「定住支援」、難民受け入れ政策を促す「政策提言・ネットワーク」、そして難民受け入れの潮流をつくる「広報活動」といった活動が含まれます。

Call for Participants: “DAN DAN RUN 2026”!
We are now accepting participants for the “Charity Run & Walk DAN DAN RUN”, an event aimed at supporting refugees who have fled to Japan. The event will be held in May 2026!
“DAN DAN RUN” is organized annually by the DAN DAN RUN Executive Committee, which is primarily made up of volunteers, with the cooperation of the certified NPO, Japan Association for Refugees (JAR). This year marks the memorable 11th edition of the event.
There are two ways to participate: on-site and online. We warmly welcome you to join us with your family and friends!
Please register by Sunday, May 3, through the sports event information site e-moshicom.
【On-Site Participation】
Date & Time: Sunday, May 31, 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
*No cancellations for rain, only cancellations for storms
Location: Toyosu Gururi Park （Google Map）（Access）
Highlights:
Enjoy a refreshing seaside course with views of the Rainbow Bridge
The walk (3km / 5km) includes a quiz to deepen your knowledge about refugees
For the run, choose from four courses: 1.6km, 3.2km, 5km, or 10km — each offers a unique way to enjoy the event
After the race, enjoy a talk show by JAR staff and a prize raffle
【Online Participation】
Event Period: Saturday, May 23 – Sunday, May 31
*Details for the online opening ceremony (pre-event celebration) will be announced later.
Highlights:
Choose between 5km and10km, and aim to reach your goal at your preferred time and place during the event period using your own fitness app to track distance
Participants who complete their goal will be entered into a prize draw
During the online opening ceremony, JAR staff will talk about the current situation of refugees in Japan and their support work. There will also be time for participants to ask questions directly
【Participation Fee】
Adults: ¥3,000 (incl. tax)
Junior high, high school, and university students: ¥1,500 (incl. tax)
Elementary school students: ¥1,000 (incl. tax)
Preschool children: Free
【Important Notes for Registration】
After selecting the participation fee category (from adults to preschool children), please enter the required information.
If registering for multiple participants, please select the number of tickets and enter the applicant information for each person.
Only one type of participation fee category ticket can be applied for per registration. For parent-child participation, we kindly ask that you register adults and children separately.
【Donation Information】
When registering for the event, you have the option to make a donation of ¥500 or more. If you would like to support this cause, we would greatly appreciate your contribution.

【Event Objectives】
The purpose of this event, co-created by volunteers and participants, is as follows:
Based on the vision of the certified NPO, Japan Association for Refugees (JAR) — “To create a society in coexistence with refugees, ensuring their safety and dignity.” — we aim to promote understanding and empathy toward refugees, and to raise funds to support each individual.
We also aim to create a space for people interested in refugee issues to connect, and to contribute to society in a healthy and enjoyable way.
【Use of Proceeds】
These include:
Legal Assistance: Support for the refugee recognition process
Livelihood Support: Helping refugees survive and regain stability
Settlement Support: Assisting refugees in rebuilding their lives and becoming economically independent in local communities
Policy Advocacy & Networking: Promoting policies that support refugee acceptance
Public Awareness Campaigns: Creating momentum for refugee inclusion in society

【Past Event Reports】
“DAN DAN RUN 2024” was planned by 26 executive committee members and welcomed a total of 359 participants across both the on-site and online formats. On the day of the event, 34 volunteers also supported the operations.
